What kind of person can you expect to talk to?  How about one with a college degree in a computer or network related field.  One who in addition to that has received hundreds of hours per year in continuing education in the security of computers, security of mobile devices, security of networks, security of software, incident response, digital forensics, and other related fields.

Anyone can get training, what about experience?  Our personnel have led projects in security, in development and in education.  "This ain't their first rodeo".  You should talk to one and ask them what they've managed to accomplish, what their biggest achievements have been, anything you want.  We're not worried.  Put them on the spot.  It's their audition/interview and they need to earn your confidence through your specific concerns.
